Join our dedicated Pharmacy & Medicines team and play a key role in delivering high-quality service to patients in NHS Lothian. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic pharmacist to contribute to clinical pharmacy service delivery across surgical specialities and aseptic unit based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
About the Role
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join a passionate team of pharmacists delivering specialist clinical pharmacy services across a diverse range of surgical specialties, including General Surgery, Critical Care, Orthopaedics and Reproductive Medicine.

About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist with a passion for delivering exceptional clinical care.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:

A Master of Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent).

Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Completed training or equivalent competence mapped to the RPS Post-Registration Foundation Pharmacist Curriculum.
Skills and Attributes:

Experience in proactively influencing prescribing, using clinical knowledge to optimise patient care.

A strong patient-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
