Stock Controller

Due to the continued expansion of our brand-new Hailsham distribution centre, we have an exciting opportunity for an exceptionally motivated Stock Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced business and become part of a highly focused team.

Key Responsibilities
· Forecast supply and demand to prevent stock shortages and overstocking.
· Place and manage purchase orders based on stock control system requirements.
· Track supplier purchase orders and proactively resolve any delays.
· Carry out regular stock cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
· Liaise with warehouse colleagues and internal teams regarding stock availability.
· Book deliveries into stock and report any shortages or discrepancies.
· Support the smooth running of the supply chain through accurate stock management.
· Maintain accurate records using stock control and computer systems.
What We're Looking For
· Enthusiastic, organised and able to demonstrate initiative.
· Good understanding of supply chain and stock control processes.
· Commercially aware, numerate and computer literate.
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Experience within the non-food distribution sector would be an advantage, although candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered.
