Milano Couture | Sales Assistant | 17&Central, Walthamstow
At Milano Couture, we specialise in formalwear and casualwear, helping customers find the right look for every occasion.
We are opening a new Milano Couture store in 17&Central, Walthamstow in August 2026, with the exact opening date to be confirmed. We are looking for confident, experienced and well presented Sales Assistants to join the team from launch.
This role is suited to someone with previous UK clothing retail experience who is confident working in a fast paced, customer facing environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Working at Milano Couture is customer focused and service led. We approach customers with confidence, offer styling advice and aim to create a memorable shopping experience from the moment they enter the store.
The ideal candidate will have excellent spoken English, strong communication skills and a confident, engaging and approachable personality. This role is suited to someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building rapport and delivering a high standard of service.
Full flexibility is required across weekdays, weekends and peak trading periods.
What will you do?
As a Sales Assistant, you will:
· Deliver excellent customer service and styling advice
· Approach customers with confidence and build rapport
· Work towards daily sales targets and store KPIs
· Maintain strong product knowledge across formalwear and casualwear
· Support visual merchandising and store presentation
· Help with stock replenishment and shop floor standards
· Keep the store clean, organised and presentable
· Support the team during busy trading periods
What qualities will you have?
· Minimum 1 year UK clothing retail experience required
· Excellent spoken English and strong communication skills
· Confident, engaging and approachable with customers
· Passion for fashion and customer service
· Ability to work well as part of a team
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Ability to perform well in a fast paced retail environment
· Fully flexible approach to working hours
