We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within our establishment. Duties
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Manage and train housekeeping staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimise efficiency.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Address any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Uphold health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel or hospitality industry is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and health standards is desirable.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
