Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at our Wrexham depot, working within our Pallet Network division.
This is a multi-drop role covering the LL and CH postcode areas. The position will involve regular use of tail lifts and pallet trucks, so previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
Hours of work are variable as required by the needs of the business.
The salary for this position is made up as below;
- Basic £33,046
- Bonuses £6,084

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections in accordance with planned routes and schedules
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes
- Secure loads in line with company and legal requirements
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness at all times.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately, including PODs and electronic devices where required
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and colleagues
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines
- Comply with all road traffic legislation and driving regulations
- Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding delays, issues, or route changes
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (C) driving licence.
- Digital Tachograph card and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Good understanding of road safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A clean driving record (with no more than 6 penalty points on the licence).
