The Role
We're looking for a confident, tenacious, and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team and work directly alongside the owners of the business. This is a pure new business development role — your focus will be on identifying prospects, picking up the phone, and opening doors.
Once you've secured an enquiry, our dedicated account handling team takes over to manage the relationship, process the job, and ensure delivery hits the mark every time. That means you can stay focused on what you do best: winning new clients.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in our Leicester city centre office, with the flexibility to work from home for the remaining 2 days.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively cold call and prospect across all business sectors to generate new client enquiries
- Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities
- Identify decision-makers and present Printank's print solutions confidently and persuasively
- Hand over qualified enquiries to the account handling team, ensuring a smooth transition
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly new business targets
- Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline using CRM tools
- Work closely with the business owners to shape and refine the new business strategy
- Represent Printank Group Ltd at industry events and networking functions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in a print sales or business development role
- Proven track record of success in cold calling and winning new business
- Strong knowledge of Litho Print, Digital Print, and Wide Format print processes
- Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage your own time and pipeline effectively
- A natural relationship-builder who thrives on the hunt for new business
