Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and responsible School Transport Escort to ensure the safe and comfortable journey of students to and from school. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising pupils during transit and fostering a positive environment onboard. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the community while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. Monday to Friday during School Term, will have to undergo DBS check and training.
Duties
- Supervise students during their journey on school transport, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist with boarding and disembarking pupils, providing support as needed.
- Maintain clear communication with school staff, parents, and colleagues regarding student behaviour or any incidents during transit.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with pupils, parents, and school staff.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A responsible attitude towards safety and student welfare is essential. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals committed to community service and ensuring the safety of young learners during their daily commute.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
