Novus Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic Live-in Personal Assistant to support a young gentleman with cerebral palsy to live independently, enjoy an active lifestyle and get the most out of every day.
This is much more than a traditional care role. We're looking for someone who enjoys getting out and about, has a positive outlook and can provide support in a way that feels natural, encouraging and companionable. You'll become an important part of his daily life, helping him access the community, pursue his interests and maintain his independence.

About the Role
You'll be supporting one gentleman with:
- Personal care and daily living activities
- Community access, appointments and social outings
- Meal preparation and light household duties
- Medication support
- Encouraging independence and promoting choice
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Driving to activities, appointments and days out using the client's own adapted vehicle
We're looking for someone who is confident driving, enjoys being out in the community and is happy to support an active lifestyle. The aim is to develop a positive, professional relationship that enables the client to enjoy life with confidence and independence.
What You'll Need
- Previous care or support experience (preferred)
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Confident driving automatic vehicles
- Fluent spoken and written English
- A caring, positive and proactive attitude
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach
- A genuine passion for person-centred care

Live-in placement in England.
