Job Overview
Innovex are seeking a Designer to join our team in Dyce, Aberdeen on a permanent basis. This role will focus on producing and checking proposal and layout drawings and BOM’s for new projects and existing equipment modifications.
Responsibilities
- Producing design drawings, engineering part lists / BOM’s and layouts of assemblies and components.
- Ensuring assigned engineering documentation is made available per given schedule for manufacture of equipment.
- Assisting with tolerance study calculations and performing component interface review(s).
- Participate in producing proposal packages.
- Liaising with Engineering personnel for the creation and compilation of engineer files in accordance with current Innovex department procedures and work instructions
Experience
- Minimum of ONC in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with a 2D or 3D CAD engineering suite
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Attention to detail
