Workshop based Powered Access Engineer in Wrexham
Routine maintenance, repair & PDI of a modern hire Access fleet in a clean, warm workshop environment where the priority is quality of work, opposed to quantity. Log duties and replenish parts on a computer system. Machines on our fleet consist of Nifty-Lift, Haulotte, Skyjack, Hinowa.
Required
. Attention to detail and a methodical approach
. Good communication skills
. Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team
. Flexible and keen to embrace new training opportunities, which may result in staying away from home on the odd occasion
. Basic IT skills for workshop log
. Full UK driving licence
Access industry or similar experience would be an advantage but is not necessarily essential for the right candidate. You must have a mechanical background with a good knowledge of hydraulic & electrical systems along with fault finding (schematics)
About us
Griffiths hire shops is a family business that has built a good reputation for hiring out clean, tidy and well-maintained access equipment for over 30 years. This role will involve looking after mainly Skyjack battery scissor lifts and Nifty articulated boom lifts up to 3.5 tonnes.

Hours and benefits
- Hours: 7:30am–5:00pm Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–6:00pm Friday.

- Salary: dependent on experience, plus bonuses.
