Legal Administrative Assistant
Location: Manchester (Levenshulme)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30am–5.30pm

About the Role
We are looking for an organised, reliable and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our busy and friendly law firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional environment, has strong attention to detail and is able to manage a varied workload while maintaining a high standard of service.
The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to our legal team and will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing general administrative and clerical support to fee earners and the wider office team
* Answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries in a professional and courteous manner
* Greeting clients and visitors to the firm
* Preparing, formatting and sending letters and other correspondence
* Opening, organising and maintaining client files and records
* Scanning, photocopying, filing and processing documents
* Managing incoming and outgoing post and emails
* Scheduling appointments and assisting with diary management
* Assisting with the preparation of legal documents
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
* Providing general office support as required
* Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Highly organised and able to prioritise competing demands
* Professional, approachable and confident when dealing with clients
* Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
* Accurate and attentive to detail
* Comfortable working in a busy environment and meeting deadlines
* Confident using Microsoft Office and general computer systems
* Able to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
* Discreet and respectful when dealing with confidential information
Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.
