Goldheart Automotive is a fast-growing specialist used car dealership, and we're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team.
We specialise in high-quality performance and prestige vehicles, with a strong focus on BMW and other German marques. We're looking for someone who enjoys diagnosing faults, carrying out servicing and repairs and taking pride in preparing vehicles to the highest standard.
This role is ideal for an experienced independent specialist or someone with BMW or main dealer experience looking for a varied role in a growing business.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
- Replace brakes, suspension components, steering components and other wear-and-tear items.
- Perform fault finding and electrical diagnostics.
- Prepare vehicles for retail sale to a high standard.
- Carry out road tests where necessary.
- Work efficiently while maintaining excellent workmanship.
- Liaise with the sales team regarding vehicle condition and any required repairs.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
- Experience working on BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen or other German vehicles.
- BMW or main dealer experience is highly desirable.
- Confident using modern diagnostic equipment.
- High attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Competent in Techman or similar invoicing system
- Full UK driving licence.
