The Opportunity:
A well-established, family-run law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-sufficient RTA specialist who is confident managing their own caseload, including litigated matters, within a friendly and supportive environment.
The firm has a strong reputation for providing clear, practical legal advice and professional representation to clients pursuing accident and personal injury claims. As an independent practice, the firm is committed to acting solely in the best interests of its clients and securing the best possible outcomes.
The Role:
You will manage a caseload of Road Traffic Accident matters from instruction through to settlement or trial, depending on the nature of the claim. Caseloads are manageable and the successful candidate will be supported by an established team of around 10 staff.
The caseload will include a mixture of portal and post-portal matters, with a proportion of litigated files. The firm is looking for someone who can work independently, progress files efficiently and provide a high standard of client care throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing your own caseload of RTA personal injury claims
Handling litigated and non-litigated matters
Progressing files from instruction through to conclusion
Drafting and reviewing relevant legal documentation
Advising clients clearly and confidently throughout the claim process
Liaising with insurers, medical agencies, experts, opponents and counsel
Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with relevant deadlines
Maintaining high standards of client care and compliance
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider team
About You:
The successful candidate will ideally be:
A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
Experienced in Personal Injury, particularly RTA claims
Confident handling litigated matters
Able to manage their own caseload with minimal supervision
Commercially aware and organised
Strong on client care and communication
Comfortable working in a busy but supportive team environment
Applications from experienced non-qualified fee earners with strong RTA litigation experience may also be considered.
