Terrain Vehicles is a Jaguar Land Rover specialist which has been established over 25 years and is owned and operated by the same family. As a family we are workshop focused with several family members having started their working life in the workshop we understand what real life is like. We know "book times" are a joke and we understand there are jobs people like and others they dislike.
We are looking for a Skilled Technician to join our workshop team. Our workshop is clean (normally) and well equipped.
You will normally work on your own ramp, have full access to Jaguar Land Rover online service repair and diagnostic systems as well as several aftermarket diagnostic tools.
We do not normally work Saturdays or overtime as we all need a home life as well as a working one.
You will need to work to a high standard and without constant supervision.
You will be mainly completing servicing, cambelts and general repair work but depending on your ability this could lead on to more diagnostic and complex work.
We are not asking for formal qualifications as not everyone is good as exams. However if not presently working in a motor trade workshop we will ask you do a work trial.
We believe in paying a sensible basic wage of £30900.00 per year to all our Tech's, then adding a profit share monthly bonus on top of that which averages out around £250 per month, in addition to wages we also have a company pension scheme, private medical insurance and help with transport costs. Some of these benefit's do not start until 12 months service or when we renew the medical insurance.
We also offer training with Bosch which with the aim to work towards your diagnostic or Master Tech. qualification.
