Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.
- Utilise CRM software, including Salesforce, to track leads, manage contacts, and monitor sales pipelines effectively.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic planning.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the organisation’s offerings.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Maintain organised records of all client interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within a related industry sector.
- Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce is essential; experience with other CRM tools is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to analyse data and market information to identify growth opportunities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach towards achieving targets.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
