Summary
We are seeking a Polywrap Lead / Print Finisher to join our dedicated team in. This role is vital in ensuring the quality and precision of our printing processes, contributing to our mission of delivering secure and reliable printed materials.
The role will involve working both a night shift from approx. November to June and a double day shift (earlies and lates on rotation) July to October. Night shift is Monday to Thursday. A premium is applied for night working. Double Day shift has an early finish on a Friday.
Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare the Polywrap machine for production runs.
- Operate the machine safely and efficiently in line with company procedures.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Setting up and operating guillotines, folders & stitching equipment
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency in output.
- Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
- Identify and report mechanical or production issues promptly.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements
Key attributes:
- Previous experience operating Polywrap machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical awareness.
- Flexible approach to working shift patterns.
- Multi-disciplined print finisher
Pay: £33,000.00-£38,785.00 per year
