JOB POSTED- 2/8/2026
KBB & Interior Design Consultant — Bathrooms, Kitchens, Bedrooms
Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire | £30,000 – £40,000 DOE | Full-time, Permanent
Design the rooms people actually live in.
We're Aylesbury Bathroom & Tile Centre — 18 years on, and now the largest independent KBB showroom in the area. We're currently renovating, with a further expanded bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and flooring showroom opening soon, alongside interior design and a wellness centre.
That means a designer joining us now gets something rare: multiple product sectors to work across, and a real hand in how the new showroom looks and sells.
What you'll actually be doing
You'll own your customers from first walk-in to final handover. Survey, design, present, sell, and see the job through. The customer stays yours throughout — you're the one they thank at the end.
A typical week: site surveys in customers' homes, a full bathroom design in Virtual Worlds for a retired couple who've saved ten years for it, a kitchen in Winner for a young family, mood boards and tile selections, and the follow-up calls that turn a quote into an order.
Also part of the job
- Generating and following up your own leads and quotations
- Hitting agreed sales targets
- Keeping the showroom looking amazing, and the way it should — displays, samples, literature
- The admin that goes with your own jobs: quotes, orders, follow-ups
- Supporting our social media with content from your projects
You'll be a good fit if you
- Have KBB showroom experience and know your products properly.
- Can carry out your own site surveys — accurate measurements taken in the customer's home, and the confidence to spot what will and won't work in the space.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have your own vehicle for surveys.
- Can design in CAD — Experience with Virtual Worlds & Winner ideally, but we'll train you on ours if you've used something similar.
- Understand enough about plumbing, electrics and installation that your designs actually build.
- Sell consultatively — you listen first, and you're not afraid to ask for the order.
- Are organised, reliable and a strong communicator — customers are making a significant investment and need to feel looked after.
- Genuinely enjoy the design side. It shows in the work, and customers can tell.
Adobe design skills are advantageous.
What we offer
- £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
- 28 days' paid holiday
- Company pension, generous staff discount, free on-site parking
- Full product and CAD training, plus supplier trips and manufacturer courses
- Real progression — we're opening showrooms, and we'd rather promote than recruit
Hours
5 days over a rota, including alternate weekends. Mon–Fri 8:30–5:30, Sat 8:30–5:30, Sun 8:30–1:00. Sundays are short and the showroom is calm — most of our team like them!

Apply with your CV. If you've got design work you're proud of, send a few images or a portfolio link — we'd rather see what you can do than read about it.
