Job Summary
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Key Account Manager is responsible for generating, converting and growing revenue across non-main contractor channels, with clear ownership of agreed key accounts, quote conversion, account development and commercial performance. The role is accountable for building repeat business, maintaining a live sales pipeline and ensuring opportunities are progressed effectively from enquiry through to order and operational handover.

5 Managing key account orders through the business to ensure effective handover and delivery
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Own and actively manage conversion of all non-main contractor quotes and enquiries
· Target and grow accounts within trade, SME and retail sectors including joinery, bathroom and glass businesses
· Build repeat business through strong account relationships and follow-up
· Maintain a live pipeline ensuring no opportunity is lost or untracked
· Negotiate pricing and secure orders in line with margin expectations
· Work with projects team to ensure smooth handover and delivery
· Track conversion rates, win/loss ratios and account performance
· Identify and develop new revenue streams outside of main contractor work
Key Measures of Success
· Improved quote conversion rate and reduced number of untracked or dormant opportunities.
· Growth in agreed key account revenue, repeat business and new non-main contractor sales channels.
· Orders secured in line with agreed margin expectations, pricing controls and commercial approval routes.
· Accurate pipeline reporting, timely follow-up activity and clear handover of confirmed work into the business.

Preferred
· Relevant undergraduate or master’s degree.
· Strong track record in sales, account management and delivery against commercial targets.
· Detailed manufacturing industry knowledge.
· Interest and knowledge in sustainability, including environmental and social considerations as they relate to working practices.
Key Account Manager
£35,000 salary and relative annual company bonuses
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday – 8am to 5pm
- Friday – 8am to 2:30pm
