You will work as part of a team to provide a professional technical service across the school. This service will predominantly support Home Economics, alongside other practical subjects, and you will work closely with the School Technician.
Throughout the year, you will be involved in supporting several school events, including pupil vaccinations, school photographs and hospitality events.
The role involves liaising with both internal and external customers, therefore you will need to demonstrate a professional, customer-focused approach and the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
You will use a variety of online systems, including PECOS, Microsoft packages and SEEMis, so basic IT skills are essential. Full training will be provided.
Everyone in the team works together and is willing to do whatever it takes to provide the best experiences for our young people.
This post is for 31 hours per week which can be flexible to meet the needs of the candidate and the school.

The successful candidate must have a good understanding of food hygiene and be prepared to undertake a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
You must be able to work with all kinds of foods as preparation and storage of these ingredients will be an integral part of the role.
This is a varied role and although you will have a range of whole school tasks, you will be timetabled to support the Home Economics Department.
