Project Draughtsperson - Agricultural Engineering
Negotiable salary depending on experience + benefits.
A key product development and design role with an established specialist in bulk materials handling and agricultural engineering. Tornum Limited the UK division of the Tornum Group are looking to recruit a Project Draughtsperson to join its expanding business.
As Project Draughtsperson reporting to our Directors, you’ll play a key role in our product development and design process. Your prime responsibilities will involve:
· Preparation of preliminary 3D models/drawings for budgeting and sales enquiries.
· Manage assigned projects from sales handover to customer acceptance.
· Design detailed site installations using Autodesk Inventor.
· Generate machine drawings, civils drawings and site installation drawings.
· Create BOMs, order materials and provide workshop drawings for fabrication.
· Conduct regular project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
· Act as the key link between sales, engineering, production, logistics and the customer.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to at least ONC level and/or with associated City & Guilds qualifications. In depth working knowledge of Autocad Inventor is a requirement.
Any skills around mechanical/agricultural engineering would be a real advantage. Ideally, you’ll also have a full, current UK driving licence. The role will be full time based at our UK head office near North Cowton.
