Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team within the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive hotel experience, and excellent guest service skills. Duties
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations to ensure smooth functioning across all departments
- Lead and supervise staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high standards of guest service
- Coordinate staff scheduling, training programmes, and performance evaluations
- Support human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Implement operational policies and procedures in line with company standards
- Collaborate with department heads to optimise revenue generation and operational efficiency
- Monitor financial performance and assist in budgeting and cost control measures
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and hotel policies
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel sector
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly advantageous for effective communication in diverse environments
- Solid understanding of human resources practices including recruitment, training, and employee development
- Experience in hospitality management, preferably within a hotel setting
- Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism and composure
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with guests, staff, and stakeholders

Pay: £24,496.23-£38,469.18 per year
