Vestra Homecare is delighted to be the new contracted care provider at Griffin Court, Hebburn, with our service due to open in January 2027.
As we prepare for the opening of this exciting new service, we are looking for an experienced, organised and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our management team and play a key role in establishing and coordinating the service.
About the Role
As Care Coordinator, you will work closely with the Registered Manager and wider care team to ensure the smooth and effective day-to-day running of the service.
You will play an important role in coordinating our care staff, supporting the management of rotas and staffing levels, maintaining effective communication with staff, residents, families and professionals, and helping to ensure that consistently high standards of care are delivered.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Vestra Homecare from the beginning of a new service and help build a strong, dedicated and supportive team at Griffin Court.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating care staff and supporting the effective deployment of the team
- Assisting with staff rotas and ensuring appropriate staffing levels
- Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service
- Maintaining high standards of person-centred care
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, staff and external professionals
- Supporting staff to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care
- Monitoring care delivery and reporting any concerns appropriately
- Supporting compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Assisting with staff communication, training and development
- Contributing to a positive and supportive team environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced within a care coordination, senior care or supervisory role
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident coordinating staff and managing rotas
- An excellent communicator and team player
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Reliable, professional and committed
- Able to work calmly and effectively in a busy environment
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing and independence of the people we support
Previous experience within a similar role is desirable, along with a good understanding of care services and the importance of maintaining high standards of care.
