Duties
- Deliver goods to various locations promptly and professionally, maintaining high standards of customer service
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including light lifting where necessary
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules or issues
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving van driving or though, full training is given
- Valid driving licence
- Physical capability for lifting and manual handling tasks
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and management
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations relevant to commercial driving
