- Sharing your cocktail, wine, beer and spirits knowledge with the wider team
- Training and coaching team members to improve their confidence and beverage awareness
- Taking responsibility for cellar management, including line cleaning, stock rotation, keg changes and maintaining excellent cellar standards
- Monitoring stock levels, deliveries, wastage and beverage controls
- Helping improve sales through recommendations, upselling and strong product knowledge
- Supporting functions, weddings, events and busy hotel service periods
- Working closely with the Food & Beverage management team to improve the overall guest experience
- Ensuring licensing, food safety, health and safety and company procedures are followed
- Leading by example and helping create a positive, motivated and professional team
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a bar supervisory or senior bartender role
- Strong cocktail-making skills and a genuine interest in developing new drinks
- Good knowledge of wines, beers, spirits and current beverage trends
- Experience or a sound understanding of cellar management
- A creative approach and the confidence to contribute new ideas
- High standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation
- A natural ability to engage with guests and provide excellent service
- Confidence in training, supporting and motivating other team members
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to support the wider Food & Beverage operation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and functions as required
