A vacancy has arisen for a Mechanical Technician, the role is based at IRIS’s Facilities Management operations in Teesside
You must possess a good level of competence on Performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions - Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure equipment is functioning properly - Install, assemble, and disassemble mechanical components as needed - Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks - Keep accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMs system , including work performed and parts used
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent - Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components - Proficient in reading technical drawings and schematics - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good communication skills
