Service: Glasgow Alcohol and Drugs Crisis Service
Based: Tradeston, Glasgow
Hours: Part-time 27.8 hrs per week
Salary: £25,878 pro rata (£13.45 per hour)

Turning Point Scotland’s Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Crisis Service, is looking for a Part Time Cleaner to join their team.
The role will be 27.8hrs per week over 4 days. Thursday and Friday 9am to 5pm then 6.5hrs to be worked between 8am and 4pm on Saturdays & Sundays, giving you some flexibility
What you’ll do
Establish and maintain a high-standard cleaning programme throughout the premises.
Maintain cleaning equipment and report any faults to administration staff.
Prioritise workload effectively and work with minimal supervision.
Liaise with administration staff to ensure cleaning materials are ordered when required.
What we’re looking for
Experience carrying out a range of cleaning duties.
Able to follow a cleaning schedule and prioritise daily tasks.
Knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment.
Flexible, helpful, and able to work well with colleagues.
About the Service
At Glasgow’s Alcohol and Drug Crisis Service we provide low-threshold, direct access health and social care for people in crisis due to alcohol or drug use, including those experiencing homelessness.
Support includes a crisis residential unit, 24-hour Injecting Equipment Provision, wound care, harm reduction advice, signposting, and naloxone training and provision.
For over 27 years, we have worked with NHSGGC and the Health and Social Care Partnership to provide safe, stigma-free crisis services that reduce harm and support recovery.
Our approach puts safety first, supports people to take their next steps, and helps them maintain positive relationships with family, friends, and communities.
