Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Follow food safety standards and responsible serving practices to ensure guest safety
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and provide correct change
- Monitor alcohol consumption levels of guests to promote responsible drinking
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies
- A friendly attitude, team spirit, and a proactive approach to customer service
