As a chef, you will play a key role in the preparation, cooking and presentation of dishes while maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene. This is a great opportunity for both experienced chefs and those looking to develop their culinary career.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen organisation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety regulations
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Support senior chefs and work collaboratively with the team
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential (training provided for junior roles)
- Passion for food and cooking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food hygiene standards (Level 2 Food Safety is a plus)
