Duties
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and work surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping ingredients and assembling dishes.
- Support the organization of storage areas by rotating stock and ensuring proper labeling.
- Collect and dispose of waste responsibly, maintaining a tidy and safe workspace.
- Help with serving food and beverages when needed, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas during shifts, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Support the team during busy service periods by performing various auxiliary tasks as directed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and organizational skills.
