Duties
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, residents laundry with precision and care
- Operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and manufacturer instructions
- Monitor laundry loads to ensure proper cleaning cycles and prevent damage to fabrics
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including equipment and storage spaces
- Restock supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents as needed
- Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying supervisors when stock is low
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens.
Experience
- Previous experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all linens meet quality standards
- Good organizational skills for managing multiple loads efficiently in a busy environment
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently when operating laundry equipment
- Excellent teamwork skills to coordinate effectively.
