Fire Extinguisher Engineer – London
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join a growing fire protection business covering London and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, installing and commissioning portable fire extinguishers across a diverse customer base including commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and public sector sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain portable fire extinguishers in accordance with current British Standards.
- Carry out installations, replacements and commissioning of fire extinguishers.
- Identify defective equipment and recommend remedial works.
- Complete service reports and compliance documentation accurately.
- Provide customers with technical advice and ensure excellent service at all times.
- Manage stock levels within the company vehicle.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
Requirements
- BAFE qualification is essential.
- Proven experience servicing and maintaining portable fire extinguishers.
- Good knowledge of BS 5306 and current fire safety regulations.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Package
- OTE of up to £45,000 depending on experience.
