Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine assembly requirements
- Assemble and install mechanical components, ensuring precision and quality standards are met
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the fitting process
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or engineering sector
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, tools, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an industrial setting
