Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities on construction and building projects. The successful candidate will supervise site operatives and trades, coordinate daily tasks, monitor workmanship and progress, and ensure that health and safety standards are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate construction workers, tradespeople, and labourers on-site.
- Allocate daily tasks and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
- Monitor progress and report issues, delays, or material requirements to management.
- Ensure construction work is carried out to the required quality and specification.
- Coordinate masonry, bricklaying, carpentry, roofing, groundwork, and other site activities as required.
- Check that materials, tools, plant, and equipment are available and used correctly.
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
- Ensure all workers follow site health and safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Assist with setting out work areas and checking measurements and levels where required.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other site personnel to maintain smooth workflow.
- Monitor deliveries and ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently.
- Identify potential site hazards and take appropriate corrective action.
- Maintain basic records of site activities, labour, materials, and progress.
- Assist with site clearance and preparation when required.
- Support the management team in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within agreed standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a site supervision or construction supervisory role is preferred.
- Practical experience in construction, masonry, bricklaying, stonework, or related building trades.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, hand tools, and power tools.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and understand basic drawings, specifications, and measurements.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and make practical decisions on-site.
- Physically fit and able to work in an active construction environment.
- Valid UK driving licence preferred but not mandatory.
- Relevant construction qualifications, CSCS or equivalent site experience would be advantageous.
