We're looking for a Sustainability Coordinator to join our team working on the Bridgwater Tidal Barrier project
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Working as part of the Bridgwater Tidal Barrier team, you'll play a vital role in supporting and delivering the project's carbon and sustainability objectives. You'll be improving data quality and driving key initiatives to support our journey to net zero, ensuring sustainability and innovation is embedded throughout the project lifecycle.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Sustainability Coordinator, you'll be working within the Bridgwater Tidal Barrier team, supporting them in achieving carbon reduction and sustainability goals.
Your day to day will include:
- Working with engineering, procurement, commercial and construction teams to identify, implement, monitor and report on project carbon goals
- Supporting the team to complete carbon assessments and collating data for external reporting
- Identifying and driving innovative trials and writing up case studies to capture innovation
- Delivering carbon upskilling and guidance to staff, clients and the supply chain
- Helping drive initiatives linked to Kier's Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks carbon strategy and our overall journey to net zero
What are we looking for?
This role of Sustainability Coordinator is great for you if you hold:
- A degree or Masters qualification
- Experience in carbon management
- Competency in data analysis and have commercial awareness
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, EMS, and environmental legislation with the ability to apply these effectively in real world scenarios
