School Carpenter

We are looking for a School Carpenter to join the team at one of the UK’s leading boarding schools. The School Carpenter will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the school site with a particular focus on carpentry and joinery. Working to the highest standards, the postholder will ensure that all carpentry work is completed safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard of workmanship.
As a valued member of the Estates department, the School Carpenter will also support the wider operational needs of the school such as coordination of car parking for school events, setting and resetting furniture for events.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent work ethos, a positive and flexible approach to work as well as a keen sense of humour. This is a full time position working 5 days out of 7. Hours of work 8.00am – 4.15pm.
