Valerie Manor, a family run, 23 bed nursing and residential home based in Upper Beeding, Henfield, West Sussex provide second-to-none care for our residents, offering a truly personal experience for everyone who lives with us.
As a nursing home rated “Good” by CQC we are seeking to recruit a part time registered nurse to join our committed and driven team and to uphold the same ethos and passion for care that we do.
The main duties to include, but not limited to:
To administer residents medication on time and correctly
To assess and implement care plans in a person centred way based on each residents needs and preferences
· To help care for residents acutely ill, dressings, support with care
· To manage the care for EOL residents
To answer all bells, emergency bells, the front door, greet visitors and answer the telephone when possible.
To manage the team of staff and lead by example.
Salary: £20.70
Requirements
The right person will be/have:
Registered nurse with active pin
· Able to communicate both written and verbally
· Able to lead a team member
· Flexible, reliable
· A kind and compassionate nature
· A willingness to learn and develop
Desirable
· Previous experience in working in care homes
· Interest in training and development
