WHAT IS INVOLVED?
Youll be a key point of coordination, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations and providing exceptional administrative support to colleagues across a wide range of programmes. If you enjoy variety, problem-solving and working collaboratively, this role offers all of that - and more.
What youll be doing:
- Supporting the Public Health Team to ensure business needs are prioritised and managed effectively.
- Managing incoming communications - email, post and telephone - identifying key issues and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets, reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Spotting urgent issues and escalating them to senior team members when needed.
- Arranging meetings: booking venues, sending invitations, preparing agendas, taking minutes and tracking actions.
- Preparing and presenting documents and formal minutes using information from a range of sources.
- Managing electronic diaries, coordinating appointments and scheduling meetings for the team.
- Processing invoices and tracking financial transactions using Oracle systems.
- Providing administrative support to managers in monitoring and managing budgets.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You should hold a NVQ Level 3 in Business Admin or equivalent in related subject.
