*Job Summary*
We are seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our team.
*Responsibilities*
- Fabricate metal parts and weld seams using MIG and TIG welding processes. Follows technical drawings and specifications. Inspects equipment and structures. Follows and maintains knowledge of safety protocol.

*Customer Service *
- Representing the business in a positive and professional manner when greeting visitors in person

- At all times carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the post in compliance with Halton’s Policies and Procedures.
*General Duties*
- Consults with technical drawings/ job packs to execute welds to the correct specification
- Welding usually consists of around 1.2mm – 10mm Stainless Steel.
- Welding fabrications and support assemblies using MIG and TIG process
- Ensure high levels of fabrication and welding to appropriate standards
- Minimise the wastage of materials and consumables
- Maintain quality, health and safety within the production cells
- Works a flexible schedule to keep up with production demand during busy production periods
- Examines machinery production output to verify the product is acceptable to move onto the next part of the production process by clean sharp edges etc.
- Meets production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity and quality
- Fabrication & Welding of product according to specification & drawing(s) to a quality that ensures acceptance of weld examination & tolerances of +/- 1.5mm.
- Using electrical or manual tools such as saws, squares, callipers etc.to assist in quality of products for customers
- Weld fabrications and support assemblies from metal products, to a sequence of operation
- Comply with the companies ISO-9001-2008 policy on all aspects including requisition of welding consumables
- Willingness to develop coding for Nuclear standards of welding
- Work as part of a wider team and guide colleagues on equipment as and when required
- Any additional tasks that fall within your competency as directed
- Meets production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity and quality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.36-£16.49 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week
