Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and other bakery items.
- Assist in food production and food preparation tasks to support the overall kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and kitchen areas, adhering to strict food safety protocols.
- Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks in food preparation and baking.
- Ensure all baked items meet presentation standards and are delivered fresh and on time
- Follow safety guidelines related to baking equipment, handling ingredients, and maintaining a hygienic workspace
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and high-quality food output
Experience
- Previous experience in food production, baking, or culinary environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices within a restaurant or bakery setting
- Basic kitchen experience involving food preparation, cooking, or baking techniques
- Knowledge of food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety compliance
- Experience working in fast-paced environments such as restaurants or cafes is advantageous
