Fleet Factors is a family run business founded upon Teesside in 1975. In more recent years Fleet has implemented a stores management service to blue chip companies, councils, and public services. Essentially, we assist or run the stores for the business allowing them to focus on their priorities. Fleet now has over 300 employees in 28 branches with over 200 Stores management sites nationwide. We supply truck & trailer parts, car & van parts, lubricants, and consumables along with refinish products from a range of suppliers.
An excellent opportunity for the role of a Parts Advisor has risen at an existing stores management site it the London Area. This includes dealing with a whole variety of parts including car, van, & lcv.
Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Undertake receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with the company goods in process
- Pick customer orders as per company processes and make them available for dispatch
- Dispatch outgoing orders
- Carry out regular and spot stock takes as required
- Ensure all stock is stored, handled, and transported securely and in line with health & safety guidelines
- Work with colleagues to ensure the workplace is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
- Ensure all packaging and waste is disposed of in line with company processes
- Any other duties that may be required for the smooth running of the business
Requirements:
- Possess a good standard of numeracy and literacy and be IT competent
- Good understanding of, and commitment to safe working practices
- Good communication skills along with efficient time management skills
- Have a valid driving license or reliably commute

Things to Consider:
- Knowledge of the automotive parts trade would be beneficial but not essential as full on the job training will be given to the successful candidate
- As well as the above there is many more day to day tasks that you will be asked to complete. We all like to work as a team and help out in any areas we can
- Hours | Monday - Friday 7:30am until 16:30pm
