The Orchard Day Nursery is a home from home nursery and preschool set in beautiful 1/2 acre landscaped gardens in Caversham, Reading, Berkshire. Established in 1989, Orchard has been delivering high quality full daycare and education for 36 years. We have an opportunity for a full time Level 3 Qualified Practitioner to join our happy and enthusiastic under 3s team. You will need a Full and Relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification, and experience and enthusiasm for this exciting age group. You will need strong knowledge of the EYFS, Child Development, Safeguarding and First Aid. We provide a wide range of ongoing opportunities for further training and development.
Job Requirements
- Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Early Years
- Safeguarding: Up-to-date training (renewed every 3 years) and sound knowledge.
- Paediatric First Aid: In-date certificate.
- EYFS: Excellent understanding of the curriculum, Early Learning Goals, and Ofsted guidance.
- SEN: Knowledge of .
