Location: Ellesmere Port Campus
We are seeking to appoint two experienced Management Information Systems (MIS) Managers to cover the MIS function across our 4 campuses. Each will have their own specialism in either funding and planning or data, reporting and development. The roles will work closely together as part of a new leadership structure to oversee our complete information environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear day to day leadership in the development and delivery of the MIS funtion in line with the standards and expectations required throughtout the College and ensure this is equitable across all sites.
- Maintain, design and monitor processes and documentation to effectively support the management and administration of student data.
- Ensure student data is accurate and structured to meet the requirements of the appropriate funding bodies and to facilitate information systems within the College.
- Be responsible for student data, related processes, and evidence to meet audit requirements.
- Be responsible for the regular review of relevant systems and procedures to ensure a cycle of continuous improvement.
- Promote the importance of and use of data to teaching teams.
Key Person Specification Requirements:
- Evidence of continuous professional development specific to this area,
- An open and welcoming management style that motivates and inspires others,
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure,
- Experience of working with an MIS system,
- Knowledge of funding methodologies within a diverse education setting, including FE, Apprenticeships and HE and the ability to develop this further (P & F) and
- Experience of working through internal and external audits
