Service Manager – Franchised Dealership (Derby)
Our client, a highly respected franchised dealership, is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a busy operation in Derby.
This role requires a proven Service or Aftersales Manager with strong leadership experience in a franchised dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a service team including technicians, apprentices, and service advisors
- Implement and maintain high service standards and efficient processes
- Ensure service targets, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved
- Oversee service desk operations and customer communications
- Resolve customer complaints and service issues effectively
- Drive continuous improvement in workshop efficiency and performance
- Conduct quarterly appraisals and support team development
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across workshop and site
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Service or Aftersales Manager role within a franchised dealership, minimum 1 year experience in the role
- Strong leadership, organisation, and diary management skills
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering an outstanding aftersales experience
- Confident using Microsoft Office and dealer management systems
- Professional presentation and adaptable to new processes
