What you’ll be responsible for At Lisvane and Llanishen’s stunning setting, we’re looking for an inspiring Head Chef to take the lead on a thriving, high-profile food offer. About you
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Demonstrable experience in Catering / Cafe operations using fresh locally sourced produce
Practical Health & Safety experience in a retail or Café environment
Excellent customer service skills, from a customer focused background with the ability to communicate at all levels
Commercial awareness working with budgets, P&Ls GP, menu costings, till reconciliation cash handling
Knowledge of regulatory requirements associated with food hygiene licensing law, Premises licence, PMR, PRL, EHO, trading standards
Proven track record of managing developing and maintaining a team to meet customer and business needs
Demonstrable experience in event catering
Proven track record of growing income across a food and beverage operation
Demonstrable experience of food service & food production in an establishment to a set standard, exceeding expectations and customer perception
Prior people management / line management experience
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Professional qualification in related discipline NVQ 3, HCIMA, BII, TMI, current Food Hygiene certification Good to know
A satisfactory DBS check will be required prior to start date for all successful applicants.
