Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible individual to join our team for the Front Desk (4pm to 9pm) . This position requires a highly organised, detail-oriented person who can provide excellent customer service at the front desk and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout our premises. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently. I.T skills and multi tasking are important attributes. The hotel offers a great in room dining experience for all its guests in the evenings. Training will be provided and you will have the dual role of creating dishes from the menu, so hands on in the kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential as all training is provided. Front desk duties-
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using our hotel management system.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately and maintain records of transactions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front desk area.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel management software is advantageous.
- A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
