Braddicks Furnishers Bideford is looking for a full-time Sales Assistant to join our team in our Bideford store. The ideal candidate is motivated, organised, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
Previous experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
The hours are 9am - 5pm 5 days a week and will include Saturdays. When working a Saturday you will have a day off in the week. Our shop is closed on a Sunday, so you will have every Sunday off.
You will be based in our Daddon Court Showroom which is located in Bideford.
Braddicks Furnishers is a local family-run business, and has been serving North Devon since 1897.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct customers
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Provide accurate information about the store and products
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products
- Maintain friendly and professional demeanour towards customers.
- Track inventory and daily sales
Skills:
- Proven customer support experience (preferred)
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with computer skills
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
