looking for a cleaner for 1 day a fortnight on a Thursday 10am till 12noon at the moment then moving on to 1 day a week for 2 hours
cleaning offices kitchen area and toilets and meeting room
start date is the 18th June
12.71 per hour paid monthly into bank by 8th of each month
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The successful candidate will be organised, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across commercial and office spaces, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas in accordance with health and safety standards
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a secure working environment
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Reliable with a professional attitude and good organisational skills
- Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations is advantageous
