Role Overview
Center Healthcare is seeking an experienced Paediatric Complex Care Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a young person with complex health needs in a home-based setting. This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and skilled professional who is confident in delivering complex clinical care while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
We are looking for someone with flexibility to cover both day and night shifts.
You will work under the supervision of our nurse-led clinical team, delivering safe, person-centred care in line with an agreed care plan.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in complex care
- Ability to work confidently in a home-care environment
- Compassionate, reliable, and attentive approach
- Strong commitment to maintaining dignity, privacy, and independence
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver care in line with the individualised care plan
- Provide tracheostomy management, including care and suctioning
- Provide full personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care
- Administer medication and support hydration
- Support nutrition, including tube feeding where required
- Monitor observations and promptly escalate changes in condition
- Provide emotional and social support to the young person
- Work collaboratively with family members and the multidisciplinary team
Clinical Skills & Experience (Essential)
- Paediatric complex care experience
- Tracheostomy care
- PEG feeding
- Cerebral Palsy
- Dystonia
Key skills include:
- Oral suctioning
- Nebuliser therapy
- Observation monitoring
- Tracheostomy care (ties, tapes, inner tube changes)
- Routine and emergency tracheostomy procedures
- Epilepsy management
- Medication administration
- Dressing changes
