Job Overview
We are seeking new faces who are passionate and hard working to join our vibrant team. As part of team alma, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while meeting and greeting customers, serving and preparing high-quality drinks. Your ability to manage time effectively, maintain food safety standards, and provide exceptional customer service will be key to your success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, matcha, tea, and smoothies.
- Being part of our fresh deli sandwich team when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills for accurate billing.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Follow all food safety regulations to guarantee the health and safety of our customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to enhance customer interactions.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
