XOYO Birmingham is seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere within our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently to customers in a timely manner
- Take orders and provide friendly, attentive service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring customer behaviour and intervening when necessary
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively, welcoming environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential
- Excellent time management abilities to manage multiple orders during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A professional attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required
